Sorry I didn't make a better debut. But I promise that I will get braver as I get to know you better. You have to remember that I am only 3 months old so if I seem a little shy, I hope you will forgive me. I started to feel a little safer when I saw my new friend, Ms. Knibb at the assembly. And I did peek my nose out again when I heard the music. I was shocked to see my "hamster guards" dancing on the stage. They were dancing the "Hamster Dance". That is my very favorite dance. Does it surprise you that I can dance? Hamsters have lots of rhythm. Oh ya, I am a Hamsta!
Here are some pictures of the assembly.
LOTS OF PEOPLE
THESE SMALL PEOPLE ARE MORE MY SIZE!
THESE DANCERS HAVE THE "MOVES" AND THEY HAVE GOOD-LOOKING T-SHIRTS!
I spent most of the time after the assembly sleeping! I was so so so tired!
After lunch, Mrs. Chase put me in my ball and we cruised. I got to go and visit the kindergarten after they had snack. It was a good thing I was inside my ball or I would have had a feast and probably made myself sick. I got to play with the kids there. They brought over some funny animals for me to play with. I think I would like to visit kindergarten again. It is fun, fun, fun there!
After kindergarten I cruised the halls. There are A LOT of halls to cruise around at Galbraith. People will need to start looking down. so they don't step on me. I wandered into Mrs Nelson's class, Mrs Wenaas' class and the gym. They were playing basketball in the gym. That is too dangerous for a little guy like me!
So far, things look pretty good at Galbraith. Mrs. Chase told me that tomorrow I get to spend the morning in Mrs. Wenaas' class. It will be good to see my old friend again. Did you remember that I got to live at her house before coming here (check out my earlier blogs). One thing that I am happy about; so far I haven't seen any CATS!
Well, it's time to get back in my cage. All of this typing is making be sleepy...and hungry!
I leave today with a hamster tip.
Don't poke your fingers in my cage. Sometimes I can't tell between food and fingers!

Mrs. Morrison's fanatastic fives were so happy to meet you in the gym. We didn't want you to get trampled with all of those basketballs flying around and certainly didn't want to mistake your ball for one that we were throwing around! We can't wait to have you visit our classroom tomorrow afternoon. We love you, Humphrey!
